Obituary:
Albert G. DiMarcello, 93, of Naples, passed away on March 10, 2010 at Avow Hospice. Al worked for Glenn L. Martin Aircraft in Baltimore. He went into the U.S. Army serving during WWII and returned to GL Martin after the war. He was very proud of his work there as he played a large role in the first space shot to the moon. When the company closed their plant in MD, Al worked for Baltimore County as an engineer until his retirement in 1979. He and his wife traveled extensively, visiting family and friends, camping on the eastern shore of MD and visiting the family home in Italy. Al was an avid golfer and worked at Lely Hibiscus for many years. His dear wife of 71 years, Mary died in September of 2009. Al will be dearly missed by his daughters, Catherine E. Tuttle of Naples and Essex, MD, and Nancy J. Scott of Naples; sister, Yolanda Tenaglio of Naples; brother, Nicholas of Atlantic City, NJ; grandchildren, Michael Uhlik of York, PA, Lisa Petro of Cape Coral, Gina M. Morley of Hampton, NH, Albert J,. Scott of Naples; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Patti, Chelsey and Kasey Petro all of Cape Coral, Taylor Scott of Bellingham, MA, Steffan and Savannah Scott of Naples, Shane and Tyler Morley of Hampton, NH, and great great grandchildren, Annalise Patti of Cape Coral and Ethan Josephson of Bellingham, MA.
