Obituary:
Viola M. Stevens (Passler), 70, of Naples passed away March 8, 2010. She had been a resident of Naples since 2003, having moved from New Orleans, LA.
Born on October 12, 1939 in Baton Rouge, LA, she was the daughter of Judge and Grace Peacock. While in New Orleans, Viola had worked in the restaurant and banking industries. In Naples, she was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. Viola was a woman who truly loved her family. She was the happiest playing with her granddaughters, Brinnie and Kylie – her home was their play house. Viola also enjoyed pet sitting Sadie, Petie, and Brantley. She was deeply loved by her family and will forever be remembered.
Viola is survived by her son, Craig (Michelle) Stevens; granddaughters, Brinnie and Kylie; her former husband, Conrad Stevens; her sister, Aida Tlaxco; and aunt, Aida Garcia. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, Ched Stevens.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 11th from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Rd., Naples. A Mass of Christian burial will follow on Thurs., March 11th at 1:30 p.m. at St. William Catholic Church, 750 Seagate Drive. Entombment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans, LA.
