Walter Zawis, 85 of Cape Coral died Friday, February 5, 2010 in the care of Hope Hospice Cape Coral. Born December 4, 1924 to the late Walter and Rose (nee: Niespodziany) Zawistowski. He served his country durning WWII in the Navy. He was a member of VFW in Pine Island and the Moose Lodge in Cape Coral.
He si survived by his sons John and wife Michiko of LaMesa, CA and Randall and wife Gina of Chicago, IL along with 3 grandchildren and 4 Great grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Fuller Cape Coral Funeral Home-Cremation service, 3740 Del Prado Blvd. S. 239-542-3161
